“Building Effective Communication With Our Young People… especially Teens.”

Jacinta has engaged in many professional roles over a long and extensive career.
Trauma and Behaviour Specialist, Relationship Educator, Teacher, Deputy Principal, Leadership and Work Culture Authority, Family and Parenting Course Facilitator, Mental Health and Addiction (AOD) Clinician and Writer.
Jacinta and her husband Mick formed their family through adoption. They have two children who came home through the process of local adoption and two children who came home through Intercountry Adoption. They are young adults now, ranging in age between 18 and 30.
Jacinta asked her four children what topic she should explore in ‘Share and Connect’ which they all responded that effective communication, which includes listening, is key to healthy family relationships.
Therefore Jacinta will explore “Building Effective Communication With Our Young People…Especially Our Teens”.
