Paul MacGibbon is an experienced healthcare leader and Registered Nurse with over three decades of clinical, operational, and executive expertise across acute care, aged care, disability services, and community settings.
Paul holds a Diploma of Applied Science (Nursing) from RMIT and is a registered practitioner with AHPRA. His career began in clinical nursing, progressing through senior roles including Associate Nurse Unit Manager, Urology Nurse Consultant, and Clinical Nurse Consultant, before moving into leadership positions.
He spent over 20 years at Austin Health, most notably as Manager of the Emergency Care Coordination Team. In this role, Paul led multidisciplinary teams, managed complex service delivery environments, and played a key role in system innovation, including the development of an electronic care coordination assessment tool. He also contributed extensively to governance, chairing and participating in numerous committees focused on safety, quality, research, aged care, and disaster preparedness.
More recently, Paul has held executive and strategic roles including Chief Operating Officer within the NDIS sector, where he led organisational performance, compliance, and service delivery through a successful audit process. He has also demonstrated strong commercial acumen as a Business Development Manager, driving growth, building partnerships, and expanding market presence across healthcare and corporate sectors.
