PCA Families is delighted to announce the appointment of Kellie Burns as the new Chair of the Board of PCA Families, effective 26th August 2025.

Kellie is a Registered Nurse, Midwife, and Maternal Health Nurse who joined the PCA Families Board in November 2022. With a distinguished career spanning over 20 years supporting vulnerable families, Kellie brings significant experience in trauma care, specialised maternity services, and disability sport. Kellie currently works in Parent Infant Mental Health, facilitating therapeutic support for new parents and is a mother of two daughters who joined her family through local infant adoption. We are all looking forward to working with Kellie as she leads us in the implementation of our new strategic plan.

At the same time, we extend our heartfelt thanks and deepest gratitude to Naomi Colville, who has served as Chair with extraordinary compassion, dedication, vision, and wisdom over the past four years. Under Naomi’s stewardship, PCA Families has achieved significant milestones, navigated complex challenges, and strengthened its foundation for future success. Her unwavering commitment, thoughtful leadership, and generous mentorship have left an indelible mark on our organisation and all who have had the privilege to work alongside her.

We are pleased to share that Naomi will remain on the PCA Families Board and will Chair the newly established Lived Experience Advisory Group.

On behalf of the entire Board and PCA Families team, thank you, Naomi, for your incredible service and lasting impact. Please join us in welcoming Kellie and celebrating Naomi’s outstanding contribution to PCA Families.

Kind regards,
Wendy Mason, Chief Executive Officer
