Mark Rogers brings eighteen years of lived experience as a permanent carer, supported by a long family history in the foster‑care system. He is a nationally accredited mediator with experience across commercial and civil matters, disability advocacy, and culturally informed support within Indigenous communities.
Mark has held senior roles in education and community organisations, including two decades teaching and leading trauma‑informed programs for children in care. As Vice President of ADRA, he contributes contemporary governance insight, collaborative problem‑solving and strong stakeholder engagement. Mark also works with the Office of the Public Advocate safeguarding vulnerable community members. He has extensive experience in government advocacy and relationships, working across agencies to strengthen policy, improve service pathways and elevate lived‑experience voices. Mark is committed to improving outcomes for permanent and adoptive families through lived‑experience leadership and evidence‑based practice.
